Sure, we can talk about the game, if you insist. But let's try to focus on something positive, like the bitchingly fast new nickname I coined for Michael Bradley: the Bald Eagle.
Yeah.
Don't even act like you don't love it. Years from now, you all remember who came up with that one. And I will be awaiting your Photoshop masterpieces to celebrate Mikey's new moniker.
UPDATE: Dammit to hell... it seems BigSoccer poster TheNearPost had the same idea in December.

Absolutely Dope.
even he had a pretty bad game I thought from his usual standard. Seemed to be misplacing passes and his corner kicks were not that good.
The fatigue of the players out there could have been solved if only they would have taken their deer antler spray and put on their hologram chips!
Greg, if you had to give a lower rating to one of the starters that you rated a 5.5, who would it be?
Why would I have to do that?
You don't have to. My question was that if you had to, who would it be? Feel free not to answer, you do have your 5th amendment rights.
None of them. Just make your point.
I'm trying bro, I'm f'ing trying.
BTW, can we all finally put to bed the dumb lets-scrap-Edu-for-someone-worse lightbulb that seems to scorch every USMNT manager's head? Edu may not be a silky distributor, but I'll be damned if he isn't our best natural destroyer in the pool right now.
Also, width for gods sake!
One other thing: NSC's cynicism about Klinsi has been borne out yet again. Klinsi fancies himself some kind of secret genius, allowing him to toss out the principles of tactical deployments. Sounds like another ex-Argentina manager whose name rhymes with "Baradona."
Yeah, I went there.
Greg - if you absolutely had to give an eight rating to one US player, who would it be? /sarcasm
While it was nice to see Mexico not win at Azteca, I don't think this was a great outcome for the US. The (arguably) best team in the Hex giving points to the (arguably) worst team in the Hex at home? And their next home game is against the US?
Side note: the crowd at that game was miserable! Does Mexico regularly not sell out WC qualifiers against non-US teams?
Timmy, mexicos next game is not against the USA, it is on the road at Honduras.
I'm sorry your right Timmy. There next home game is USA.
I guess the point is that Mexico have a pretty tough game against Honduras, before they even face USA. Just as we have to play Costa Rica first.
Greg, I guess my question is what did Jozy do to warrant a 5.5, if he did not score or assist the lone goal? Was he playing good otherwise? It's like Johnson, the left back one not getting credit in your writeup for a goal line save. Everyone has their conspiracy theories, and I guess I have mine.
Guys, let's not forget: it's always darkest before the dawn.
Umm. Either that, or its always darkest right before it goes pitch black. I can't figure out which applies here..
I know you're proud of the nickname, but there was a thread on BigSoccer proposing that nickname a couple of months ago.

Speak out, speak out against the madness . Speak your mind, if you dare.
@ Unknown: Thanks for the heads up.
@ dikranovich: Dude, Johnson was overtly poor last night, just like the rest of the backline. And I never said he didn't get credit for good plays, I just have limited space to discuss things.
It will be interesting to see if JK treats Donovan similar to how he treated Chandler.
I have never minded the German movement, but it appears that a lot our willpower has gone by the wayside concurrently with it.
Robbie, what is going to be even more interesting is how Donovan treat his own country, the country of his birth
What are you on about? These are human beings with their own lives and reasons, and last time I checked being American is supposed to mean you can live as you wish. This is the same ownership mentality used to rake Chandler over the coals.
Donovan is a damn traitor. A traitor who has played 144 games and scored 49 goals for country.
Yeah, I have absolutely no problem with Donovan doing what he's doing. I respect it, in fact.
I WILL have a problem if JK slams the door in his face when he's ready to come back because of how he handled the Chandler situation.
For the record, I'm cool with what Chandler did as well. Just saying that there shouldn't be a pro-German bias on the U God Damn S National Team.
That's what I call my d-## & balls too. Great nickname!
