BUT. Argentine Diego Valeri's goal, Portland's first, was maybe the best moment of the game. He not only juggled his way through space and finished slyly, he transmogrified Jamison Olave from a person into a traffic cone. IMPRESSIVE.

It was a great goal, but not even the best of the weekend in MLS. Arnaud's was better in my opinion.
Arnaud's was absolutely gorgeous. I can't be the only one who thinks that Montreal outclassed Seattle in that match.
Crazy thing about that game: Seattle and Montreal are 1-2 in possessions per game metric thru the first MLS weekend (both had 150+ that game). That game was played a ridiculously high and technical pace, bizarre for a season opener.
