I'm glad the idiots in La Familia are continuing to get negative coverage, and that the quote choice continues to be from veritable children justifying their poor choices. This bit about Terek Grozny is fascinating. You'd think that the Israeli league would have some indication of the ownership status of Sadayev and Kadiyev, at the very least... or that the Guardian would bother to ask them.

la familia aside, there is some real good soccer on tonight. first leg of sounders v tigres takes place in mexico tonight. you get the sense that now with a larger number of americans playing in the mexican league and young players going down to show well in mexico, they are ripe for the picking on march 26.

we really do need to be on six points after this night, and then just boss the rest of the group. maybe this group has seen the light and from here on it will be all business.

and if you dont like concacaf champions league, tijuana v corinthians is a tasty copa libertadores.

Well, technically speaking, it isn't racism. The hatred in this case is based on religion, not race.

tc, please think about what you are saying. please!!! why would young fans refer to chechen players as arab if they did not feel that it was infact a racial difference, as if there is technically a difference. seriously??? "a clean club" is that not racism?

you might think if you are agnostic, that you cant practice racism, because it is your nonreligious, religious views that are the basis for your argument

Oh, take religion out of society, take almost all discrimination out of it as well.
