History check in progress... (updated)

I can only check back to the 1990/91 season, so I'm waiting on word from AZ to see if Jozy Altidore's 28 goals across all competitions has set a new club record. I know that he has the most over those last 20 years, and I know he is still two short of their Eredivisie season standard of 23 (joint-held by Mounir El Hamdaoui, John Mutsaers and Rini van Roon.

UPDATE: It turns out, Altidore's current total stands seventh on the all-time AZ single-campaign list. He now has the club's highest goal total since Kees Kist hit for the existing record 39 in 1981/82. Kist, the clubs's all-time top scorer and fourth in Eredivisie history, actually has five of those top six season outputs.

He has four league games and the KNVB Cup final, so five games left.

Still can't believe Shea isn't making the 18 for this crap Stoke team. I don't buy that it's simply his foot and they're taking it slowly.

If his foot is still a problem, then why not a single report of Shea being held out of training and doing rehab instead? Training all week and not playing at the weekend doesn't help. And if they weren't going to play him then why not sign him this summer and let him actually play with FCD?

I hope Shea nd Cameron have relegation clauses as neither needs to stay at this crap club when they go down. That would be bad.

Awesome! I'm already playing the "where does he play next year?" game.

Any chance you could post the full list down to an updated Jozy number?
