Daily Double (half-updated)

We have two goal clips to wait on, as Aron Jóhannsson bagged the spot kick winner (his fourth of the young season) in AZ's 3-0 defeat of Go Ahead Eagles and Viborg defender Babajide Ogunbiyi starred with the lone goal (his second in the last three games) in a 1-0 victory at AGF Aarhus.

Clips to come...

UPDATE
: Well gosh, NOS Sport has been so kind as to quickly provide full highlights. AJ's PK play starts at the 2:43 mark.

UPDATE UPDATE
: Here's the swashbuckling Ogunbiyi goal.

what the heck kind of name is go ahead eagles. is this a team in the dutch top division? what in the world??? sounds like an ultimate frisbee team.

personally, I only wanna see PK highlights if it is a tottiesque reverse spin backheal, or cup winner. against a Frisbee team, no....

1 - Yes, it's a 110-year-old club with four Dutch championships that produced the likes of Marc Overmars and Paul Bosvelt.

2 - Then don't look at it. Problem solved.

lol, greg, this club be real, or be quick, or whatever, they won their championships during a time that came before the USA even played in a semi finals, and I know you know the USA has a world cup semi final appearance on its resume.

Question for you all:
If the U.S. needs to bury a penalty kick and Landon Donovan's otherwise incapacitated, would you rather Dempsey or Johannsson take it?

This would be in the run of play as I figure both would go in the shootout.

For me, Dempsey is no higher than fourth or fifth on the PK chart, behind at least Altidore, AJ, Donovan and probably Diskerud, too.

I bet Beslar can bang a PK. But give me Jozy, in that scenario

Agreed with Greg.

Why is Dempsey taking PK's anyway?

Give me Donovan.

I just wonder if we'll even see some real minutes from AJ any time soon. With Jozy gone, I definitely thought he'd see some time against Mexico. I know Jozy and Eddie are top dogs right now, but we need to know what he can do for us before Brazil.

Dempsey took the PK for one reason: to preserve Dos a Cero.
