Your line-up

I'm quite concerned having two guys at wingback who can get caught up and have back post marking deficiencies for this game. I'm also fairly sure there's not enough wide crossing here to take advantage of Johnson's aerial ability. But it is what it is, folks, so get ready.

Howard; Johnson, Goodson, Gonzalez, Beasley, Beckerman, Jones, Bedoya, Dempsey, Donovan, Johnson

well on the bright side, coach bob Bradley made it official today, placing Egypt into the next round of qualifying. let the good vibes continue tonight.

Wing backs holding their own. Timmy Howard net minding very nicely. I'm not sure how Donovan can see, but I guess playing on the left is best for him.

Ej has been strong and is linking with deuce nicely and Mexico has made some nice last ditch tackles or blocks to keep USA off the scoreboard.

Second half we see who makes the better adjustments. This could be a great chance for Mix and Aron.

You can't call him landycakes anymore. He had his whole heart on the line tonight. Wow. Yo Adrian!!!

1 - Johnson definitely had issues.

2 - When have you ever seen me call him Landycakes? :/

3 - You were 100% right about Mix.

1. which Johnson do you refer to? stop trying to be so coy. admit Fabian is a bad ass defender, and lets move on. get on the bus gus!!!

2. this comment was not directed at you greg, but above and beyond you, to all those people out there that have lived with this feeling in the pits of their stomach.

3. whatever.

Fabian Johnson is great on the backline. he is strong, he is fast, he is good on the ball, and he has good instincts.

he did have to man a side that put him up against mexicos best players and Fabian put the heat on guardado and salcido, and Fabian probably was a little banged up coming into this game.

if I do have a beef, it is that some of these guys need to learn how to put their hand over their heart during the nation anthem. no thumbs tucked down underneath the other fingers and no palming the tit, like your feeling up the high school cheerleader.

its real easy, right hand, over the heart, fingers extended.

John, anyone who doesn't.
