The In Crowd

We have four new party passes handed out for Brazil 2014; Belgium, Colombia, Germany and Switzerland are in. So who can make the list on Tuesday and how? We gotchu.

Honduras can make it 15 with so much as a draw at Jamaica. If they fail to do that, Mexico could grab the last spot with a win at Costa Rica. Way down south, Chile and Ecuador are each a point from qualifying and conveniently (or not) play each other on CONMEBOL closing day, with Uruguay hoping to sneak past any loser with a big win over Argentina.

Across the Atlantic, Groups F through I remain up for grabs to varying degrees. The tightest race is in Group G, where Bosnia holds a monster goal differential edge on Greece heading into their UEFA closing day match at Lithuania. An hour and change earlier, the Greeks will host Liechtenstein.

England can seal the top spot in Group H with a Wembley victory over Poland. If they fall short, Ukraine should then ease past them with a win at San Marino. Meanwhile, France have only a dreamer's shot at passing Spain in Group F (the defending World Cup champs would need to lose at home to Georgia for them to have any shot) and Russia only need a point at Azerbaijan to ensure they fend off Portugal.

By the end of Tuesday business, the list of invitees will be up to 21, with several other spots headed to playoffs.

Greg - any chance for Bradley's guys to beat Ghana?

Sure, but it won't be easy. The Ghana defense will be shorthanded and beatable... if Egypt can somehow get through the Ghana midfield to attack them. Should be a tense one.

Thanks... never in my life did I ever think I would be sweating an Egypt result...

Yeah, so much for that.
