We're off to the ballot...

Yes, it's that time again to share my submitted Fútbol de Primera (formerly Honda) US Player of the Year ballot. Here lies my full explanation.

1 - Jozy Altidore
2 - Michael Bradley
3 - Clint Dempsey

- Greg Seltzer

Appreciate your ballot and think it is tough to argue against your logic. That said... Knowing who you think should win - who do you think actually will win?

I think junior is going to take the award this season. Altidore just is not consistent enough.

Is that the guy who has scored in his last six of his last seven USMNT starts you're referring to?

Well he did not score in 2013 until the Germany game, and deuce got two in that game. The Jozy did score in the next three, two game winners. WCQing.

Altidore came back in with three in the Bosnia game, but did not score in the loss to the ticos and did not score in the 2-0 win against our biggest rivals, Mexico. He did score against Jamaica, but did not score in the finals qualifier against panama, and USA won the game when he departed the field.

Jozy altidore is right up their, but not at the top of the list.

If we are going to expect a higher standard, we need to have perspective on hattricks that come against Bosnians that even some of the Bosnian supporters didn't know.

Mb90, the soldier, the general.....dirty pig!!! That's your winner.

proabably agree with Jozy, and Bradley is our best player. But Donovan's domination of the Gold Cup was so complete, I think he gets a vote.
