The Stat Nerd Returneth

I am curious. Which chart appearance/stat surprises the most?

On the one hand, Gooch has played for the most top clubs. But he's always injured, so it's kind of surprising to see his name on top.

He has played 202 top flight league games in his career. So not always.

Yeah, I guess it's just a more recent perception.

How do you get all these stats together? Is there a central database you use? Or does MLS give you an intern to look all of it up?

Ha! No, I have no intern. All me. I use various websites like Transfermarkt/Weltfussball, as well as books on occasion. Obviously, some players are easier counts than others. But once I research something or other, I keep it around with updates for future reference.

I'm not sure if Jozy gets player do the game today, but it looks like he did the dirty work that helps secure victory. He probably won back some Sunderland fans today, but will have to do much more.

Goals are needed, not excuses!!!

And wins are above all else, and does cure everything
