Holden news (and noodles)

A couple of noteworthy Stuart Holden items for you today, First, there is this...

And then, of course, there is this: the winner is set to be announced in the combo-play PhotoShop contest with Mix Diskerud. How did I know we should keep these two adorable knuckleheads apart? I think a young lady named Ashley Saunders might have the best one. Even if she is a Dodgers fan.

Holden has a world class attitude

He really does. The guy deserves so much good luck and has had nothing but the worst. We're all pullin for him.

hold up, deuce is starting today versus Chelsea. wow!!!

He had 3 really good chances in the first half as well. Sprayed the ball wide on a header, chested a cross instead of headed it, and then didn't shoot immediately when fed a nice ball by Parker. Deuce just wanted more time on the ball than he had in those last two chances. Oh well, let's see what he can do in Cypress.

So Brek flipped off fans today?

This guy is quickly going from bad to worse. Never should have gone to England.

Houston, we have a problem!!! I guess jozy will be really well rested for the Ukraine game, which is looking increasingly, like it is not going to happen.

I'll have to admit, dikranovich was right this time. Jozy being taken off after 45 minutes vs Arsenal had more meaning to it then we thought.

Well you can assume one thing definitely means another, but I will go ask questions. :)

As for the Arsenal game, unless he was disobeying instructions or something, I have no idea how he can be faulted so much for that game. He barely saw the ball and the few times they got forward in the first half was through him.

Greg, you were right, Fabian Johnson was playing right back a couple of weeks ago, and he is still playing the position and tearing it up. We need wing backs who can defend and get forward. He fits the bill, on either side it would appear.

Strangely enough, this week and last, he has mostly defended. Very little attack out of him in these two games.

Yet he won a PK last week and won a free kick today that lead to a goal. So he knows when to pick his moments, and he strikes with intent.
