Look to the Championship. In addition to Brek Shea coming back from a bug, USMNT pool defenders Oguchi Onyewu and Jonathan Spector returned from injuries today. Furthermore, Eric Lichaj made it back to the bench from the shelf (and Nottingham Forest's defense got beat up pretty good today).
And by the way, all of those comeback participants helped struggling sides post victories, as did Bolton defender Tim Ream. Somewhere, Klinsi is watching...

Don't forget Duane Holmes, on loan at yeovil town, winning the PK in a 1- nil win. Meanwhile Huddersfield town got worked hard. Looks like this loan will not last to long.
Was really more commenting on the USMNT defense stable, which has been hit hard by injuries in recent months.
Ok
Maybe we could mention top dog from the defensive stable winning the game tying PK in a bundas league game today.
At some point we hopefully won't be looking at the Championship level for positives.
That's not a great situation for a supposed top 20 national side.
We have had plenty of second flight players do a job in the past; DeMerit was in the Championship when he started for the US at WC10. And it also bears noting that MLS is near the same level of competition. Some of these guys could be in the Prem next season, but that does not matter. Throw out the labels and look at the players. That is what I would suggest.
Sadly, Daniel Williams was a bit of of sorts today, but was still Reading's best player, and was bludgeoned even.
