Heh.

Maybe it was just the rough loss, but after reading through a boatload of USMNT fan comments about last night, I must point out that not one single person has expressed disappointment with how the new World Cup home unis look in action. Just sayin'.

Now if we could just talk about all the neon shoes...

Usually a kit looks better on the field. That's how the Waldos played out. But I still don't care for these kits. But I guess it's a good thing I'm a football fan and not a fashionista. I don't really care as long as we win.

I saw time and time again on the USSoccer Facebook page conversation diverting away from the hideous performance back to the hideous kits. Not sure where you were lookin Greg.

Obviously not on Facebook. But seriously, how is it even possible for a kit that almost entirely white on white to be hideous?

If American soccer fans complain any more, everyone will think they are Dutch soccer fans.

When US Soccer released the design, they solicited feedback via their FB page. 500+ comments for the design, and then 500+ comments on the result of yesterday's match. I'm a fan of all-white normally. Huge Wimbledon fan, and a supporter of the history behind the all-white. The issue here is with US identity, where the all-white doesn't really mean much to US Soccer fans. The buttoned up collar also doesn't represent a proper soccer jersey, and looks a lot more like a golf polo. It's not cricket, or golf, or tennis...soccer represents the blue collar sports fan around the world, not the elitist crowd Nike is trying to pander to with the design. The USMNT shouldn't scream refinement and elegance. Their kits should scream blood and sweat.

Just be happy we didn't get the new Scottish kit (which I like). People would lose their minds about stripes and gradients, etx

Are the Dutch fans complaining about their new WC jersey Greg? Idk what they think about it but they're pretty awesome.

I agree that some U.S. soccer fans need to stop whining FFS!

Actually, the Dutch seem to like this jersey. But they will find something else to complain about. :D
