Oooh, it looks soooo goood.

I love a good documentary, especially ones that take us even further into stories we already know well. Tomorrow night at 8 pm ET, Fox Sports 1 will kick off a series of six World Cup documentaries to get your spirit revving. The first edition covers the 2011 Japan WNT, on a general topic that may be rather bittersweet for the US ladies and their fans. Here is the overall trailer for the six subjects to be covered.

Yeah I couldn't make it 5 minutes into the documentary without my blood boiling. I remember watching the game live and how it should have been over in the first 20 minutes outside of some atrocious finishing by our ladies team. The ladies missed 5 absolute sitters to go into half time 0-0. Looked like they woke up late in the second, but defensive mistakes let them down in the end on counters.

If you didn't watch the game this momentous level of failure was up there with the many iterations of Bayern v. Chelsea over the last few years. One team pegged back and doing literally nothing, one team failing to put away easy chances, and in the end it goes to penalties.
