Refrigerator Magnet

The USMNT communications staff has worked up a handy, dandy reminder map for the last 86 days worth of road to World Cup 2014, suitable for bookmarking or download. It is now part of my desktop.

Any idea when tickets will go on sale? I'm planning to make the 5 hour(-ish) drive to Jacksonville.

Never mind, US Soccer just posted that Jacksonville tickets will be announced sometime in the next couple weeks.

I thought this paragraph was part was particularly appropriate given discussions on this blog:

"Green said Klinsmann had mentioned the possibility of playing for the U.S. at the World Cup, but the coach has not guaranteed him a spot on the World Cup team if he chooses to wear the Stars & Stripes.

“But the chance is there,” Green said with a smile. “I have to play well, and we will see.”"

Greg: any chance for klinnsman's clipboard to appear soon? The last iteration got derailed by injuries and I'm still curious....

Actually, those clipboards are mine, as if I was in charge - not intended as a Klinsi guess or anything like that. But yeah, I have been trying to think how long I can stall before committing to an update. I am waiting on a few rehab updates, and will probably roll with a new chart once I have them.

Well it's official. Welcome to the fold Julian Green.

Yeah, I am still waiting on a confirmation from this side of the ocean.

I'd like to know the German reaction. Not a huge loss for them, but I'm sure they're never happy to lose a teenage prospect who's getting minutes at Bayern already.

@Jolazo: Yeah, they talked to him before making his decision hoping he would stay with them.
