This bears watching...

Remember that right back clipboard from yesterday? Well, FC Nürnberg just told me that Timothy Chandler is expected to resume individual training in 2-3 weeks. That, ladies and gentleman, means he may not be lost for the Bundesliga season after all. I will look away in case you'd like to start crossing some fingers and toes.

I'm a huge Chandler fan, and having him available would allow Cameron to start in either a more forward position or play CB, but something the Ukraine game showed clearly is that a back line with no chemistry is going to get torched, no matter the level of individual skill. Even if Timmy gets healthy, does he have enough time to assimilate into the USMNT back line?

Over a month straight of training and three friendlies? Sure.

So considering the Straus article, Chandler's goose-egg at San Pedro Sula, the US fans playing CSI:Klinsmann are wondering if there was something to these data points. So would all be forgiven?

@Erik: Almost everybody had a goose-egg at San Pedro Sula. When healthy Timothy is one of the best RBs the USA has.
