Tor! Tor! Tor! (updated)

The day is not done yet, but already a pair of young Ger-mericans have combined for a Saturday hat trick. The headline goal belongs to John Anthony Brooks, who has just put Hertha Berlin ahead of Braunschweig 1-0 from a corner kick in the 61st minute.

Also, Andrew Wooten struck twice in three minutes (giving him three goals in the last two games) as FSV Frankfurt moved six points clear of the danger zone with a 3-1 win over Energie Cottbus. The youngster picked the corner on 32 minutes and buried a spot kick shortly thereafter to provide all the offense the home side would need.

UPDATE: We now have eyes on a Brooks clip. UPDATE UPDATE: And Soccer Over There has the Wooten goods.

How did Fabian and Chandler play today? Also I see Shawn Parker making the 18 every now and then but it's been pretty quiet lately. Ever since Mainz started to challenge for a Europa spot (and still in the run for the 4th UCL spot), they haven't included the youngster. I remember there was a lot of USMNT commitment talk surrounded this kid at one point in time.

Just saw your update on the MLS exports page, which answers the Johnson & Chandler question.

Johnson yes, chandler no....

chandler no what?

Chandler has not shown enough heart to play for this summers USA team. He has to wait until next cycle, and then show what he has to offer. Besides, chandler is not even the best American playing right back in the bundas league

Nobody asked you.

Greg, no follow-up on Shawn Parker then?
