Juan Stop Shop?

It will come as little surprise, but I can now confirm that erstwhile loan employers FC Utrecht are in the crowd aiming to sign fresh free agent Juan Agudelo. There will soon be more to come about this chase and others (to be) of note. And some of the stuff I have learned about the others will surprise you a lot more. Welcome to summer, soccer fans.

Ah, my favorite time of year ... lovely weather, backyard barbeques and Greg playing air traffic controller only letting the well founded rumors reach our runway!

Ugh. You just made me hungry. Now, I have to go get BBQ chicken and slaw.

Turnabout is fair play. You made me hungry for summer transfers

Touché. But my chicken will be done roasting to perfection in about 10 minutes. You will wait longer. :D

Hoping for a better Eredivisie side. No disrespect to Utrecht, but I didn't think their side was that great. He never really got into a rhythm with their attack, IMO.

Leader of dtot he was allright there. Remember he was still getting into a groove. Plus in a 18 team leauge he only has so many games to get chances. Plus not all players adjust to midseason moves right away. In the end he found his place and knew what was asked of him and did well.

Has this article gone up somewhere?

what's going on, Greg? 2 days and nothing new to report?

@ Rob:

Well... I did not say they were definitely getting him, just that they are in the crowd of suitors.

@ Mike:

No, not yet. This is the only mention, still trying to round out the picture more before I go with a full report.

Patience, my friend. You must understand, people with info always see me coming now, so the degree of difficulty is higher. As long as you do not see it somewhere else, just assume it is a scene in progress. And scenes are often complicated. They run course on their own time.
