I'm sorry, was there an interview going on? I couldn't tell with all of the obnoxious fans, who still haven't figured out the proper cues of when to cheer and when to not.
Good point. Still, the crowd wasn't interested in what the players had to say, but since its GMA, they probably knew it'd be just cupcake questions and answers. Regardless, good exposure for the sport leading up to the greatest spectacle in sport the world has to offer!
Frankly, if the worst problem American soccer has now is that excited fans dominate a segment on a major network news show, I'm not going to bother complaining...
NSC is run by Greg Seltzer (MLSsoccer.com), who has reported on soccer across the globe since 2001, covering MLS, MLS Cup, U.S. Men, Women & Youth national teams, World Cup, Gold Cup, U-20 World Cup, the UEFA European Championship, UEFA Champions League and Europa League, UEFA Cup, CONCACAF and UEFA qualifiers, Premiership, Bundesliga, Eredivisie, various second-tier leagues, domestic cups and international friendlies.

Yeah, actually I blame the director for being silly enough to keep the crowd mics open.

Are you really all that concerned about what the players have to say on GMA?
