Mexico 1 Cameroon 0

A dominating performance from Mexico, who easily could have had more goals. Another game marred by referee decisions, as Mexico had two goals called off for an offside and at least one was incorrect.

Gio Two Saints was the NSC Man of the Match for this one. His performance drove his squad to victory over a disjointed Cameroon.

That penalty call against the Dutch reminds me of the Jozy call a couple months ago. I think if the ref had a video review he might change his mind, on both calls.

I'd wager he'd want to change his mind if he saw the replay on the Costa penalty call. Costa slipped. Contact was almost non-existent.

Another John Oliver clip, with a perfect Klinsmann impression: http://youtu.be/EMtwzYt-fL0

Take nothing away from Mexico, they played well, should have put two more in if it weren't for bad refing.

However, it makes my blood curdle. Why? That they should get this horrible, horrible Cameroon team, and we get Ghana. Cameroon were an arthritic mess out there, totally devoid of danger and weak down the entire spine. Alex Song and drivel, is what this team is.

It was a penalty. I had no beef with the call whatsoever.
