Netherlands 5 Spain 1

Sorry for the delay, there was a bit of a party here last night.... so sue me. As you know by now, the Dutch ran wild from the 44th minute on, exacting a measure of sweet revenge for the World Cup 2010 final loss. I will be honest, I did not know what to expect from this new variation of Oranje. New players, new set, new holy crap do not fall behind them in this tourney because speed and more speed comes off the bench.

The Dutch look on course for a round of sixteen matchup with Mexico. Unless of course Mexico do what they do pretty well and beat brasil, then the Dutch can look forward to that samba party in the next stage.

The Dutch looked pretty good once they got organized, and their coaching staff and unity look solid.

Big game Spain v chile!!!

I'd be surprised if Mexico beats Croatia.

I would not. Teams from the Americas are showing well so far.

Ticos representing, and if they pull this out, it will be both holland and Costa Rica who have exercised some demons so far in this event, and a team will be looking to do the same on Monday, also
