I don't know if I just have too many other chases going on or what, but Freddy Adu heading to AZ Alkmaar for a trial toootally slipped past me. Funny part is, I was meant to check back with Stabæk tomorrow. Of course, Adu and AZ director Earnie Stewart won a title together with D.C. United, and the former USMNT star has had good success when grabbing young players. I will have an MLSS report on this once I get a chance to speak with Earnie.

Unfortunately Aron is out for the next few weeks, so they won't be able to see how well they'd play off each other.
Basically he's going around to all the clubs that have American connections. If he couldn't catch on with a club that Michael Stephens plays for, I'm not optimistic.
Who said he could not catch on at Stabaek? Even Stephens left for another trial before signing.
It remains to be seen. But a guy that's been without a club for 7 months usually isn't very picky.
Would you turn down an AZ trial? I wouldn't. :)
Definitely not. I have a bad habit ofstating my opinion and making them look like facts. From an outside perspective it looks like he's going to American-connected clubs.
Hopefully I'm wrong and he catches on somewhere. I'd never openly root against an American.
I'd all but forgotten Adu.
Who was his last first team game with?
Bahia.
Any gooch news?
Can we get Mix over to AZ too?
