Have you seen Pelosi or Rubin take PK's? Has anyone?
Yes and yes. They have both taken for US youth teams. But, again, remember there is a lot of projection involved in this whole exercise. Those two already have a history of taking dead balls of all sorts and noted technical skills.
Random question, but does anyone remember the last time the USMNT actually went to penalties? It has to have been nearly a decade.
