Transfer topic that!

Anderlecht midfielder Sacha Kljestan went a bit crazy on Wednesday night, bagging a pair of somewhat similar goals with his head to go with an assist in a 4-2 Belgian Cup quarterfinal capper against Zulte-Waregem. The 'stache maestro hit the first goal and the winner to double his total for the campaign. You can see both goals in the video box at the top right of this page. You want videos #11 (opener) and 9 (brace-maker).

I'd love to talk about the USA being a win against El Salvador away from going way down unda this summer.

Tsar Gregor, let's limit an collateral damage, and keep our debates on your site.

I understand that women from 13 of the 24 countries were involved in this lawsuit, and England was one of the countries not involved. I wonder if holland took part in the suit.

The suit was also said to have included less than 100 players. 24 teams x 23 players on a team = 552 women. This suit really needed to involve more than half of these women.

its interesting, but it is January, and the asia cup is taking place, as well as the African cup of nations.

you are looking at two confederations that will not have a problem with a winter world cup. when you add concacaf, and oceana, and probably combol, this is called consensus.

Did you hit your head again? Good grief.

Dik you realize you are ruining this site. You have good insight from time to time and I enjoy reading your comments most of the time but dude you have to keep it on topic. Take your random discussions to a forum. Thanks man.

Chorizo and eggs, I want chorizo and eggs. I'll get you anything you want. You are doing the litmus configuration? Yeah, the litmus configurmaration.

Hey tony... Hop-a-long casadich!!!

mmm chorizo and eggs... although huevos rancheros is where its at!

Fry up some chopped chorizo a little and throw it in corn cake batter. Then, of course, when you have cakes done, give it some maple syrup and thank me later.

dikranovich said...

That does sound tasty, but if I am going to throw maple syrup on anything fried, it is most likely going to be chicken and waffles at roscoes.

Damn I miss that place!!!

Roscoes does a good fried chicken. The waffles are fine, but I don't love whipped butter, so.

Tom I think some of these local eating establishments, franchise, or expand, and the quality suffers. It happened with primanti bros in Pittsburgh also. Or maybe it's just nostalgic taste buds.

I know I could put away a couple pieces of fried chicken, two waffles, some corn bread and two cans of coke.

corn cakes? can you elaborate on this recipe?

Greg Seltzer said...

Get a box of Jiffy cornbread mix and do it up as if you were making cornbread - only instead of baking it in the oven, fry it in the chorizo grease and a little butter like pancakes.

Some areas in the country call them Johnny cakes.

Wait, we had a perfectly good conversation about chorizo going here, and you let dik sidetrack it over to waffles? WTF, Greg? You're losing your grip on this place.

Greg Seltzer said...

Last night I made a chorizo, sweet potato, onion and broccoli hash with an oozy fried egg on top. It was killllller.

i will be making these "johnny cakes" and will report back. sounds delicious. looks like U20's are world cup bound!
