Eventually, everyone will take my job.

Aston Villa star man Brad Guzan has joined the crowd over at The Player's Tribune by penning this bit, which starts by covering a certain cup final day in his career before tip-toeing into a common US soccer bubble debate topic. Check it out.

It's hard for me to believe that one hour before one of the biggest game villa plays in over twenty five years, neither keeper knows who is starting. Guzan is a man of faith, to his credit, and he has outlasted the Irish gaffer at villa.

It's a little hard to believe Guzan has been in England seven years, and friedel, don't laugh, but it was almost twenty years since big bad brad was playing in MLS.

That really should make people do a double take.

It is a great read. It also confirms my confidence in Guzan. I think he is just as good as Howard - they are just slightly different strengths/weaknesses.
