Aron Jóhannsson got footloose with 14 minutes to play, striking the 1-0 winner at 10-man Ajax. It was his fourth goal of the campaign and his third in five career games against the defending champs.

How bad is the ankle injury?
He is listed as doubtful for Sunday, but will travel and may have a late fitness test. Report going up shortly at MLSS.
Poor guy. Seems like his season has been more or less derailed by ankle injuries. Let's hope this does not portend future problems.
The former Dutch number 1 looked unimpressed. You know Az like to pour it on Ajax every chance they get, after the pitch invasion.
Erm, not only have Ajax and AZ been derby rivals forever with the cities about 45 minutes apart, but Ajax were 5-1 in the series post-pitch invasion until last night.
Dik: Of all the web sites, in all the towns, in all the world, you have to soil this one? Can't you start your own?
tA: Yes. I guess. Why?
Tom, do you even know the story behind this Ajax/ AZ debate? It's the whole f'ing reason I'm at this stupid site.
how come defoe can score for sunderland?!
As I have already said several times, because he will go solo quite freely.
And I never said Altidore was unable to score for Sunderland. In fact, I repeatedly criticized him for being too focused on team play all the time. He needed to go solo far more often than he did.
Greg, you are full of kaka, and I'm not talking about the Brazilian.
to go along with that goal defoe also already has an assist in his what 1.5 games wit sunderland. i really hope jozy turns it around up there in america junior
You both made your point. Yet again. Stay on topic.
