It just gets better and better.

That was sarcasm. There is no shortage of reasons to cringe over World Cup 2022, unfathomably still set to take place in Qatar. Seriously, what will it take for UEFA to stand up like a big boy and say no to FIFA? Because that is exactly what it will take to change things for the proper.

#14 reason why a Qatar world cup will be a disaster; no beer sales in the stadium. I mean, look at the picture of the dork who wrote this article about the 14 reasons. it does not leave much faith in his opinion on the related matters. im sorry, but it doesnt

Before the creation of OSHA, there were 14,000 workers killed on the job every year in America. That's 38 fatal injuries a day. Today we are down to 12 fatal injuries a day in the workplace.

Nice job OSHA!!!

out of our 320 million people, vs qatar's 2 million people...

Well, gosh, since he said beer sales as #14, then I suppose everything else just washes clean!

You are still serving a ban, especially on this topic, so pipe down.

Dany, good point, but an equally good point would be to recognize that when 38 Americans were dying in the work place every day, this was pre OSHA, and the population was a third of what it is today.

The fact that America is down to 12 deaths a day with a third more population than in 1970 is a real testament to our advancements.

yes, that was in the past, we pushed reform, and now things are better. now there is a problem in qatar in the present, we need to push reform to make things better in the future.

and there is a difference between the population being a third of what it was and the population being a third greater now... those two statements do not correspond.

Dany, you are right, our population has increased 50% since 1970, but the population in 1970 was a third of what it is today. Nice catch.

This actually helps to explain the Monty hall brain teaser.
