Ale On The Spot

Nantes man Alejandro Bedoya has hit just 11 minutes in to give the hosts a 1-0 lead over Caen. It was his second of the term and his first since early December. It is only halftime now, so he may still have another one in him today.

how about that defoe goal...whoa!

Oh, I know!! The first goal Sunderland scored at home in 371 minutes!!

Of course, in the two Newcastle wins Altidore participated in, Sunderland scored five goals...

yup and in jozy's 42 appearances for sunderland he managed to bag ONE goal. Defoe on the other hand has three goals on just 10 appearences.

brian never played team sports as a kid. nobody ever taught him that the success of the team is more important than the success of individuals.

3pts is 3pts. score one or 100. but of course altidore had zero.

Not really sure what you imagine you are trying to get over on me. Everything that has happened has gone exactly like I predicted it would: Defoe will score a little more than Altidore, but Sunderland will score less as a team and gain fewer points per game. All that has happened to the letter.

jozy was a flop at sunderland. his replacement comes in and immediatly scores goals. something altidore could not.

Wonderful. Please stay on topic.

HaAhAha - I was just seeing if you saw that strike from defoe. You are the one who brought Altidore into this, not me. Stay on topic, dude. What a goal, huh?

Nope. I am no longer imprisoned by watching Sunderland every week. As Evelle Snoats would say, I have released myself on my own recognizance.

And the topic is Bedoya scoring.
