Well, we had quite the second half drama as the US Under-20s edged past Colombia with 10 men to reach a World Cup quarterfinal date with Serbia on Sunday. All it took was an opportunistic Rubio Rubin strike and a huge Zach Steffen penalty stop.

Good game. Final possession stats were skewed a bit by the red, of course, but it looked like a pretty even matchup. Any word on BJIV? I suppose if I was to pick one player to have gotten the red card it would have been the out of position Acosta.

Bobby Wood just earned himself a nice signing bonus, one suspects.

I wonder if Klinsi wishes he put him on the provisional roster for Gold Cup.
