Bjørn In The USA

I dropped the ball last spring when late-season Litex Lovech acquisition Bjørn Maars Johnsen scored six goals in the Bulgaria top flight's championship hex to help them grab a Europa League spot. Well, the North Carolina product gave me a nice occasion to correct my error. The John Carew-esque striker bagged a stunning lob-on-the-run and a bullet header for his first two Europa League goals, the second of which rallied his side into the aggregate lead with but 32 minutes remaining. Sadly, they did not hold the lead at home and were ousted.

In any event, the goal plays start at 1:43 and 2:22 on this clip.

What are his chances to get a look at the USMNT? Seems like he could play target forward better than Jozy in my opinion

Are you kidding? What exactly formed your opinion that he is a better lead striker than Altidore at this time?

Greg, what's the word on Freddy Adu? Does he have any nibbles across the pond? Anything in MLS?
