You know I always like to share when I do a numbers running bit over at MLSS. This one from yesterday is the start of a series I'll do that homes in on an individual Americans Abroad player situation and wraps it in ooey gooey stat-ty goodness (which is similar to caramel).
In this bit, I ponder the production to expect from FC Utrecht rookie standout Rubio Rubin in his second go-around against a backdrop of the top second-year goal and assist totals out of all the American attackers to explore Europe before him. Or course, there will be a few surprise names on the nostalgic lists.
Sneak preview: The next series piece looks at FabJo and his forthcoming chase to set a new assists record for Americans playing European top flights. He doesn't know this chase exists, but it's there. That should drop on Thursday or Friday.

Interesting read. Hope he becomes a national team prospect. The more goals for the USMNT, the better.
