I did not see this coming. Philly Union has landed a management ace in Earnie Stewart, expect some regular winning there soon.
First the star players, now this. It makes ya wonder: how long before MLS starts snagging some of the foreign-based American coaches?

Hasn't that already started happening with Berhalter? Which American, foreign-based coaches do you rate highest?
Stewart will have a brand new USL reserve side in Lehigh Valley too in which he will oversee personnel as well.
Yeah good point, Matt. I think Bibert Khagado and Nate Weiss are a couple of rising stars, though the former is further ahead in level. He just took over a 2nd division side in Russia.
Is Cherundolo on the path? Wasn't he getting his coaching licenses in Hamburg, or did I completely make that up? I'd certainly LOVE to see him come home and coach.
Looks like Cherundolo is Assistant Manager for Hannover 96 II - though he was briefly first team assistant for the last two or so months of 2014-15 campaign.
I was kind of right. He was that and now he is Hannoover 96 U-17 manager.
