I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season, I know I am (saw Star Wars tonight!!!). Let's break the usual late December silence for a quick flag ripple. A local report has claimed that free agent defender Zarek Valentin is close to joining Norwegian second flight side Fredrikstad, but I can confirm that this is nothing more than a case of wishful thinking.
That aside, I will wish every a safe and happy New Year's Eve/Day. I'll be back on the regular NSC beat in a couple days.
