A Junior Flag

A rumor going around this week is that Orlando City are close to sealing a loan move for Borussia Dortmund youth player Junior Flores. Sorry to say, but as nice as that sounds, I've been informed by those who would know that such a thing has never been discussed by these parties.

Now, that's not to say that Orlando won't soon be luring a US youth international with a catchy name back from Europe (imagine you can see me winking)... just not that one.

Your site once was insightful. It's nice you can speak a few languages. Yet, your sources have dried up, your birdies have been rifled, and more connected people have taken your place (also I don't care if you have a wonderful flat in Amsterdam and whatever else bc I personally know having money buys what you want). You hate the USMNT coach. You love our former hero. You can't even provoke a reaction out of dikranovich anymore. I can't remember the last scoop you had (Hey guys I'm going to Malta with my gf aren't I awesome). So just review our national team. We are now so so interconnected as to not need rumors that anyone with language skills can read; your links to teams are tenuous as are all rumors. When you say two teams have interest that means literally nothing. If you had a J.D. you would be a lawyer. Rip the USMNT coach, bow before Donovan, and maybe beat-step yourself back to relevance

Wow, Nicholas. Who pissed in your breakfast bowl this morning?

No one is making you come to this website. Now that you've said your piece, you are free to leave if you don't like the blog. And feel free to take Dickranovich with you.

Yomba

I've heard Yomba too. Greg - if it is him, do you know why he's leaving Europe so quickly? I thought he'd been playing.

Just ignore him, JD. He surely thinks those foreign reports naming the same countries I outed in October as housing Johnsen interest (but somehow not the ones I outed this past week) is my "source" on that - as if everyone here doesn't already know how I operate.

@ Luke and Michael: It's not my scoop, so I'm not going to step on it or act like I know something unique about the situation. But yeah, that thing looks like a go from what I understand.

@ Nicholas: I do not hate Klinsmann. Get a grip.

@Greg Not exactly on point, but since we are talking about Dortmund (other than random crazy ranting), any clue about how likely Pulisic is to actually see time with the first team during the back half of the season? I read he did well in the recent friendly and was wondering.

I'm guessing he will, though probably not much right off the bat. Kagawa is producing as a starter in that position, but we all know what they say about earning minutes in training. That being said, they're still in two cup competitions, so I think we can hope he gets some PT in their next DfB-Pokal match in early February.

Even the DfB-Pokal seems like it would be a pretty big step. More or less the short track to the first team next season either there or loaned out to a Bundesliga side at 18/19... pretty impressive for a young US grown player. Thanks.

Are the two Pulisics related?

@Fennel - cousins.

Yomba signed with Orlando City B.
