I thought this game was in San Francisco, it looks more like Cartagena
U.S. Fans are showing up, and a goal can't be far behind
Well, hoping it was not another Colombia goal. Colombia did a good job of getting inside the officials head before this game even started. USA is down, but can fight back. There is a universe out there somewhere. where the USA wins this game 3-2. let's hope it is ours!
Turns out exactly as most of us predicted it would. Dempsey can't play the 9 (false or otherwise) in a 4-3-3, too many turn overs from midfielders (all 3 starting midfielders were poor in passing).
At least this means we will probably some changes for Costa Rica. Zardes to the 9, Jones to the bench.
I was at the game. Fans was about 50-50. The bright yellow makes them stand out. Colombia fans travel pretty seriously so I wasn't surprised. Also, not san francisco, san jose :)
