Is this the same line up for three games in a row? Did they change coaches and not let anyone know?
I think Gulati put pressure on old Klinsy which made him use some common sense. Zardes gotta put those chances away though...
I'm torn with Zardes, he definitely puts in the work both defensively and offensively. He has a motor and does not stop. He is getting better. But man like Joe said, you got to make one of those chances. Especially that 3 on 2. After the red card.
Over all well done team USA.
Downintexas, i like Zardes too. His two-way work is the reason he starts. But yeah, he needed to finish that off...
I read this morning that it was the first since 1930 World Cup that USA started the same XI three consecutive games. Of course the streak has to break next match...
JJO,
Most importantly we started the same center back pairings. It is amazing what a team can do that knows how to play together.
Agreed. I really like the CB pairing and as everyone knows Brooks was absolutely immense last night. Hopefully losing Yedlin doesn't throw the backline out of whack too much.
@JJO - Orozco held his own, to his credit. I can't imagine JK would do anything else:
FJ - Brooks - Cameron - Orozco
