And we're off...

Thanks to an early goal in each half, the USWNT opened their Olympic run with a 2-0 victory over New Zealand.







I'm not concerned about the gentle defeat of the Lady Kiwis, and Charles Boehm gives a good explanation for why you shouldn't be either in his MLSS report. What I am, however, concerned about this:

Great win. 2-0 with that kinda possession is a dominant win. the way they moved the ball... love what jill has done with the side. Allie long was fantastic.
