Happy to get Man of the Match but times to move on to Wednesday now and make sure we get the win. 🔴⚪️❤️ pic.twitter.com/mNZOt6OO1V— Lynden Gooch (@lyndengooch46) August 21, 2016
Do notice that he dropped deeper in midfield as the contest went on without any dip in quality. The video also includes a nifty save from Brad Guzan, who posted the "W" on his Boro debut.

Was kind of shocked when he moved to d-mid at half. I mean he was arguably the best player for the team in the first half from the wing. Pretty shocking to see how effective he was as essentially a pure d-mid. Go gooch!
Not only does he earn another start but the way the team is shaping up, particularly with injuries, you can see him getting real regular minutes for a while.
Be interesting to see how Klinsi treats this.
Klinsi has him penciled in at 4th string everywhere, because after all, Gooch can't be ahead of all the other Americans not playing in Premiere League.
