Every time I watch Chicago play, regardless of which broadcast team is on the call, I hear announcers repeatedly butcher Michael de Leeuw's surname. They all pronounce it "De Loo" when it is actually "De Lay-ow" (click the speaker tab in the translated box to hear the correct pronunciation).
Get it together, folks. All one needs to do is simply ask the guy.

I though this post was going to go in another direction. I have recently been noticing that regional soccer announcers in the US seem to be more blatantly partisan than other US sports' announcers.
Is that a world-wide thing or just a product of so many former players for the team they are announcing being the color guys?
