Your USMNT Line-Up v Chile

Secondary title: How many ways can Greg not get his wish. This XI is an odd mix, with guys we don't really need to learn about (Gonzalez, Ream and even Bradley, though I'm not all that upset over his inclusion in this group), pieces that don't match the opponent (two air marshal center backs) and experimental starters when better players are available (Baird). And I certainly hope that Yedlin at right back means we aren't going to go with the "Adams wrinkle" for this one. Count me as officially skeptical over the chances of our new boss remaining perfect after this one.

Gonzalez and Ream didn't look so good. Maybe ream needs to leave Fulham. Miazga was ok.

Pulisic should stay on the wing. Him on the right and Lewis on the left.

Roldan, LLetget and even Old MB was pretty good last night. LLetget needs to start...

Is this the last friendly until the Gold Cup?

Washington Post recently reported that they were playing a Gold Cup warm-up at RFK. Rumors elsewhere the opponent will be Jamaica and that there will be 2 warm-up matches

My memory let me down: just saw that it is Audi Field not RFK

I guess I would say that the talk about Berhalter's ability to "get that most out of what's available to him" has proven to be true so far. Bradley looked really good and Zardes has been given a role that he can fulfill. If nothing else, it's nice to see the team play with a clear plan.
