Been waiting for this my whole life. My first words were "He shoots, he scores!" I skated before I walked. Grew up as a lucky kid with season tickets. My first legit sports journalism story came as a high school kid somehow invading the locker room in the bowels of the old Arena.
And now, my 31-year-old Bluenote tattoo is fixing to have a shiny friend. Finally.

congrats!
I think it might be time to challenge the name of the blog: https://twitter.com/MattDoyle76/status/1140663828432216064
Also, congrats!
@ downintexas: Thankyouverymuch!
@ Matt: Hmm. I disagree. The issue is not that regular corners are now a bad idea, just that execution is too often lacking. Teams that get excellent service and well-diagramed runs still get plenty of goals that way. Just look at Ajax.
